Treatment fees:

New Patient: £75: First appointment (up to 60 minutes) - assessment appointment; including treatment (as long as your diagnosis indicates osteopathy/acupuncture treatment. Please be aware that occasionally you may need to be referred for further investigations or to a specialist before manual therapy can be started, or I may need to get further information from any specialist that you have already seen.

Standard Follow up: £60 to continue treatment after assessment (up to 45 minutes)

Re-assessment appointment: £68 (up to 60 minutes) if a longer follow up or reassessment for a brand new problem (or big change such as an accident, surgery, or significant medical change where more time for a review is required). If you haven’t seen me since I moved to Deva/PBS (4 years) please book a reassessment.

Online bookings for all first/new patient appointments can be paid for securely at the time of booking by card on the integrated Stripe payment platform. Thereafter the treatment fee is payable per consultation on the day - I take this preferably by card or phone Pay (sorry - not Amex or JCB). If you forget your card or PIN I will issue you with an invoice and epay link via SMS to arrange a card or bank transfer on receipt. Otherwise cash can be accepted but not cheques.

Accessibility: If you don’t have email, can’t manage online bookings - or are being assisted by someone else for communication - not a problem, but you do need to receive information such as my Privacy Notice, Cancellation policy and appointment information, 24 hours prior to the appointment. Please contact me by telephone or at the studios to arrange.

Online video call/telephone appointments:

If you are shielding, isolating, or cannot come to a face-to-face appointment a videocall appointment is available, please contact me to book and you will receive an email booking confirmation with a videolink.

Please note I am not taking any new referrals from insurance companies including Bupa or AXA PPP. You may still be able to pay for your treatment and claim back from your provider but you should check this with the insurance company first, and that they will reimburse you in full. I no longer have a direct invoicing arrangement with any health insurance company. If you plan on claiming for your treatment you should obtain authorisation before starting treatment (I can’t stress this enough). My my GOsC registration number is 4434.

I can issue you a same day email .pdf receipted invoice that you can download and forward to your insurance company or print at home. Your insurance company can ask to see your treatment notes to check and process your claim. We are a paperless practice so only digital receipts are available. If you require paper receipts there may be an administration fee to cover postage and printing.

Here’s the serious bit:

Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice please. If for any reason you are unable to keep an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice otherwise the full appointment fee is charged. If you don’t keep an appointment you will be charged. Obviously no one likes paying cancellation fees and genuine circumstances do arise, but in order to stop appointments being wasted and to compensate us for reserving the treatment time for you I have found it necessary to have a clear cancellation policy in place.

Lateness policy: I do try to run promptly. If you are running late try to let me know asap, as if it may not be possible to let your appointment run over. In some circumstances you can still have a shortened treatment in the remaining time that is available, but the full appointment fee is payable. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late there may not be enough time for assessment or a worthwhile treatment.  If you are late I reserve the right to charge for the wasted appointment before rescheduling you for another time.

If you are claiming on insurance please be aware that your insurance company may not pay for cancellations fees.

Sometimes our lives become pressurised and disorganised. Please don’t book ahead if you think you might not be able to keep an appointment. Anyone can go through a bad spell so please let me know if you may find it difficult to keep appointments due to your situation and I will try and work something out with you that works for both of us.
