Deva Yoga Studio https://devayoga.co.uk/

Address: 12 Belmont Parade, Green Lane, Chislehurst, BR7 6AN. (opposite the Gordon Arms in the Chislehurst end of Green Lane, not the Fiveways/Eltham end)

Deva Yoga is a beautiful, boutique studio in Chislehurst. Modern, clean and air-conditioned, the therapy room is at ground floor level just off reception, with step free access for treatments and toilets, so perfect for anyone who cannot manage stairs.

Owned by Jayne Harman who designed the studio, they are a small local business. Having had to temporarily close during the pandemic they were recognised by the Mayor of Bromley for their tireless involvement with the local Bromley community food bank. They offer Yoga, Pilates, stretching, fitness, Tai Chi, and Meditation/Gong Bath/Relaxation classes for all ages, with chair yoga for the actively less mobile. They also run specialist workshops with guest teachers, and three or four Retreats a year. Since the first pandemic lockdown they have also streamed some of their classes for live participation on Zoom. Please browse their regularly revised timetable and consider joining them in the studio or from your mat at home. https://devayoga.co.uk/ Or check out their YouTube site for an introduction: https://youtu.be/YCyoiCzpXA4

PARKING: Belmont Parade in Green Lane runs parallel to Chislehurst High Street, a 5-minute walk from the main car parks, bus services, and high street shops. The paid for High Street car parks and side street parking bays operated by the council use exclusively RingGo (app or pay-by-phone), not cards or cash.

Bromley Council have introduced a Controlled Parking Zone on the opposite side of the street to us which operates in the daytime as residents/permit holders only from 08:30 - 18:30. There are parking bays near us: two on the corner of Edward Road opposite us, two in Woodside Avenue, and two in Alexander Road. The cost is £1.10 for 1 hour or £2.00 for 2 hours.

This has displaced cars to the side streets on our side of Green Lane, and reduced the availability of free parking immediately close by. The best free road parking availability is further up in Belmont Lane past the Co-op. There is some free street parking available opposite in Green Lane, and in Belmont Lane which is a 3-5 minute walk. Or you can use the Co-op car park but please support the shop by purchasing something.

NB If you are being picked up/dropped off be aware we are on a zig-zag for the zebra crossing and double yellow lines so it is not possible to legally stop directly outside. The bus stop on the parade has a TfL enforcement camera, so do avoid pulling in there.
